Dangerousfield is covering up the cracks in Geelong and everyone is talking him up.
The more he plays like that the more they're proving they're a two man team as the other players are doing nothing

Not really a matter of "talking him up." It's as good a quarter and a half as you'll see. There's 14 minutes to go in the second quarter and he's had 17 touches, 5 tackles and 3 goals (all of them awesome).

Geelong getting away with murder on their home ground "nice chain of handballs " that was started with a blatant throw not the first time tonight either .
Identical to the Easter Monday game (final quarter). Geelong getting away with everything, in turn they start attacking more and look like world beaters.
When the umpiring is even (first quarter, or the first 3 v us), they look completely lost

The big difference in this game is that the cats are sticking tackles and also beating the first tackler when they have the ball.

It's an effort thing.

Cats playing like it's a granny and are desperate, backs to the wall style.(and kicking goals out their arse which lifts confidence and keeps reward for effort mentality high)

Dogs just playing, like they have been all year. Be interesting if they can flick the switch again when it matters this year.

Kinda hoping Geelong have spent all their energy in a first half for 'only' a 4 goal lead. They are down a player too so I expect the Doggies to scrag their way back into it over the 2nd half. And someone in red white and blue needs to lay some heavy tackles into Danger. Will he get cited for headbutting the Bont from behind in the last minute? (said more in hope/jest).

So glad we didn't pick him up though because he is so overrated....:huh::huh:
Some of the comments about him on here make me giggle. I don't like Geelong winning but people who deny that Dangerfield is impressive are kidding themselves. Same kind of folk who can't take joy in Eddie Betts at his best.

If he could just drop the wanker swagger......

But yes, I would have him at the Hawks in a heartbeat

Needs to not miss shots at goal and he'd be a more complete player. Wouldn't have him at Hawthorn because he drinks his own bathwater.
