Wow Geelong's weak list was exposed big time tonight. Absolutely no depth whatsoever. I reckon there are at least a dozen blokes in their side that would struggle at VFL level.
Beat me to it. They have no depth which means is they had suffered injuries on a par to ours, they would be keeping Carlton and North company.

And they say the Hawks list is in trouble with hodge and Gibbo going. How's that backline looking if Taylor and lonergan don't go round again

Interesting. I purchased the Sports Channel on Fox this year, mainly to watch the basketball. They've had all sorts of things like darts championships, bowling, great documentaries (those 30 for 30 things are great), etc. I also get to see replays of Hawthorn matches. So, in general, it's been worth the money.

However, when I joined, I thought it would be great to get all the extra football shows, and I have gradually dropped off every single one of them because I am tired of the bullshit. AFL 360 is a bad joke. Funnily enough, the only one I watch now is Bounce which is just so unashamedly silly it makes me laugh.
Yeah Bounce is the only good show because it's just a lighter side pisstake.

Now we just need everything to go right for us and the Bummers to stuff it all up right?
I think more so the lions to beat bulldogs at home (unlikely). Also st kilda to beat west coast. Obviously we can't afford to drop a game.

Anyway this year was never about finals for us after turning 4-8...

Teams above us wouldn't want us to finish 8th (on current form). However as we know current form can be reversed in a quarter of football. Richmond should beat us based on season form..

Im trying not to be the saltiest hawks fan alive, But

Honestly, Selwood is way over-rated, 20 disposals, 6 free kicks for him, so 14 disposals, so realisticly without the love-fest hes won 8 contested disposals, with a disposal efficiency of 65%

Against Adelaide, 26 disposals, 6 free kicks awarded to him, Meaning he's won just 7 contested disposals,

He's dropping off fast, I know he';s able to slow down due to Dangerfield in the mix, But he's not pulling his weight, I think he's been a good captain, but will be glad for the games sake when he's out.

He's a lot better however then Scott Selwood who im convinced must have some pretty dirty Intel on the coach

W/ Our finals chances, We're toast, Dropped too many easy games, Even when we started to gel, It's been losses against Geelong and gold coast which have cost us.

Essendon would have to drop a game to Carlton AND gold coast for us to be a chance
WCE would have to drop a game to carlton, and then lose both to GWS and Adelaide
DOgs would have to drop a game against Brisbane
St Kilda would have to drop a game against the Roo's

Some weird results would have to come our way, and we still have Richmond (It's their bloody final) and the dogs

It warms the cockles of my cold, black heart knowing Geelong will wilt under finals pressure. Chris Scott's gameplan doesn't hold up under it and they're hopelessly reliant on Dangerwood, Porkins & playing at the Cheat Ground. I'd even back the Tigers at the MCG against them & that's saying something!

Relax Max. Worst case we get a full pre-season.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I agree with Chris Scott, Papley (again) went down pretty bloody easily with that free.

I dislike Selwood because he draws frees by taking advantage of a rule that's meant to protect his brain (or what's left of it). But jesus, diving really pisses me off. It has no place in our sport. Just weak as piss and Papley is looking like the biggest git two weeks in a row. He is as weak as day old wizz.

Swans' board can now forget about Langford's sexual assault and goal review conspiracies.
I kept looking for a discussion about when they played on from the Out on Full Free, which should have then been changed to a ball in, which directly resulted in a goal to them. Can't seem to find any mention of it over there.

Thai and myself gave it a run in here, not the only time I have witness it this year though.

I'm sorry but that has me absolutely baffled.... We need Essendon to drop a game to the CROWS, the eagles to drop games against the Saints/ GWS or Crows, Saints to drop a game to the Tigers or Dees & the Bulldogs to drop a game against Port or GWS.

We won't play finals. Left our run too late and dropped too many easy games.

Hopefully Geelong can fall out of top 2 (I reckon they hold onto top 4) and cop a straight sets Adelaide/Giants and then the Swans.

Buddys gone to seed.
Don't know about gone, but I think his next two seasons could bring him close to the end. The sardine tin they call Simmonds Stadium is similar in shape to our old Glenferrie oval, and with no wide flanks to run into Buddy to create space for himself, has no plan B.

Every time l watch Zak Jones play he finds new ways for me to dislike him more and Papley is right behind him.
Probably more appropriate to say Papely is diving right behind him. I wonder if Duncan will get cited by the MRP Joke, or they will feel slightly embarrassed for falling:oops: for his dive last week, and costing Hodgey a game.
Papely is fast getting a reputation, and that serves him right.
