Geelong is the most unbalanced team I have ever seen. The entire game is structured around one man. The guy has phenomenal skill and can single-handedly win the Grand Final for Geelong, but it's crazy how fundamental he is to their chance of success. There have been lots of dominant players who have carried a game, who by their own hand can completely change the course of play. But I cannot recall another side so utterly dependent and a game plan so fundamentally narrow that it requires one guy to fire in order to succeed or face complete failure.

It may work but it's a shocker.
You can't even call it 'Dangerwood' any more. Selwood has been almost a non-factor this year and his injury has accelerated his demise.

Adelaide are lucky this is being played in Adelaide. As long as Danger doesn't get the armchair ride from the umps, they should be ok.

Big clean up done.

Football talk only in this thread, please.

(I understand the AFL taking a stance has muddied the water about whether this is a football or non-football conversation, but there are probably better threads you can find)
Yeah sorry there was so much yes it was easy to mistake your location

According to Jimmy Bartel the cats went away from their last meeting with the crows thinking that they would have the better of them in the next meet up
Bartel is hopelessly one-eyed. The Cats were smashed by Adelaide last time and the only reason it didn't show on the scoreboard was Adelaide were horrendously wasteful.

Geelong have in their desperation rushed Cockortwo back into the side, for a prelim no less, despite him not having played in months. If that isn't a sign of desperation then I've never seen one. What's even more mystifying is they've elected not to drop Rhys Stanley... good luck riddling that one out. :drunk:

So should we ever play Adelaide in a grand final you'll be okay with the Hawks playing in a white clash guernsey?
We don't clash with Adelaide, but if hypothetically, if we did, then yes. They earnt the right to wear their home jumper by finishing higher.

Maybe this will make sure clubs take these clash jumpers more seriously, and not produce the abomination Power Ranges jumper we had 2 years ago.

Why did the new graphics last a few hours but then go back to normal?

I'm not complaining as the new graphics were absolute trash on mobile.
How shit was it? I was contemplating giving up big footy it hurt my head that much
