I see John Ralph thinks that Saints should go after Hanneberry. Still has 3 years to go on a big contract. Why don't they get Jack too and take over his 800k per year contract also? Better suggestion is Tigers should take them, if they are so confident of a form turnaround! W..nker!

Even the Saints don't deserve this. Cooked, both of them, as I think is Kennedy. Actually a better fit for Blues, as they are probably looking for more salary dump, a' la Lobbe.

Tigers look invincible at the moment, same as Cats in 2008. Wouldn't the whole footy world moan if Nank got 'accidentally' corked or concussed early in a GF. Thank goodness we don't get many of their posters on our forums. They seem to be everywhere else. Whatever the topic is, it becomes about Richmond.

Rant over! I was actually happy for them to win last year but I think I prefer 'Ninethmond'.
Let them rot at the Swans.
Let the Swans suffer for the incompetence of their own list mgt decisions instead of selling the problem off to a club like Carlton or GC, who might have cap space, but surely don’t need cooked has-beens.

That should keep them out of the picture for a few years.

Tiger posters have left hawk posters alone because hawk posters haven’t degraded their premiership or taken constant swipes at them. For some reason cat posters are the worst and as they did with the hawks, constantly try to undermine the premiership and every game they win. Geelong posters and players all belong to cult Scott and behave accordingly

Notice that Collingwood are complaining about the treatment Cox has been receiving from defenders.
They have good reason to; but really it is a complaint against Rance without naming him.
Last week I watched the Collingwood Richmond game pretty closely and what Rance got away with was a joke. As the ball was kicked into the Collingwood forward line Rance would hug grab scrag Cox out of the contest. This manhandeling was as blatant and illegal as you could get and was in clear view on television and within the clear view of the umpires. Yet not a freekick paid against Rance. Rance became so emboldened that on a number of occasions he simply grabbed Cox and slung Cox out of the way before the ball arrived.
No wonder Rance is being lauded as a great half back.
Any half decent player allowed to get away with those tactics would be successful

Jack is on $800k a season??

Hang on - is that Jack Riewoldt or Kieran Jack? If it’s the latter then LOL.

Some of it was unbelievable - biggest bloke on the field - no way the umpires didn't see it happening

Just absolute rubbish stuff

Darcy Moore was slung a couple of times too - never had the ball

Howe got the biggest shove in the back resulting in an injury but no free kick

Kieren Jack! Luke Parker on about same. Figures are approximate but remember KJ was co-captain. When Mills re-signed with Parker it didn't leave much for the rest. With Kennedy, Jack and Parker as the inside bulls and Hanners triple AA, with Heeney and Mills coming through our Tom was thought good depth but not essential.

I believe Buddy must be coming on to his 1.2 or 1.4 million years this year with 4 years to run. Swans have made a rod for their back but have some good cheap youth coming through (Ronke, O'Riordan, McCartney). Lack midfield grunt now but at least they have the "Bloods culture'! Pity Aliir Aliir re-signed for 400k. Would have been worth a lot more to us than that.

With Kennedy seemingly losing pace, Jack, McVeigh and probably Hanners done they must be due for a rebuild. New coach too. Horse persists with a plan of kick it down the wing to a contest, but the new kids can't win the contest.

Unfortunately Cats are still hanging in contention. Wouldn't it be a shame if Ablett's "I've come back to win premierships" tilt had the same success as Buddy's!

To be honest a lot of it is no different to what a lot of the other forwards cop from what I saw eg Rough v Carlton
They were also using Grimes and Astbury to block his run pretty effectively

I think it smart media work by Collingwood , expect Cox to get a better go at for the rest of the season

There are no other teams
Only way anyone is taking Hannebery is if the Swans pay a decent chunk of his salary
Still contracted to 2021 too I think

A few of these large long term contracts are starting to come back to bite the Swans
If he was to come to the Hawks I would want them paying 99% of his salary while he mentored Box Hill Hawk players.

Serious cooked.
Well Done.
Burnt to buggery.

Has not been the same since Roughy said “Hello” to him in the 2014 GF.

$300k of Keiran Jack's contract is ambassadorial payments, which the AFL may choose to honour at a new club if it means helping Sydney out.

Gil will not be happy if The AFL $wans miss the finals...

And Longmire has indicated that he will continue to play him. Determined to get every last cent out of him
Just bizarre - remember in 2012 when we played better and scored more points when Buddy was out with that injury.

*looks at Sydney's list*

Ohh. As you were, Horse.

If Collingwood are worried about Cox's Free Kick count, we should be moreso about Roughies.

Also interesting to see 20 frees i50 for Brown. Knew he got a lot of scoring shots from frees but geez.
Ben Brown has begun flailing his arms more than any other player, though a lot of people haven't caught onto his staging yet. He literally does it in every marking contest that he isn't able to get a clear jump at the ball now.

As for Cox, Collingwood don't have a lot to grumble about given they lead the free kick ladder - just ahead of Norf.
