They won't. It takes more than a bunch of big names and an unfair home ground advantage to win a Premiership. The last couple have gone to the sides who spread the load in September better than anyone else, whereas Geelong is damn near one of the least cohesive groups in the league. Word is half the players can't stand Chris Scott and frankly who can blame them.

Geelong are just Unlikeable all round
Suspect Geelong will start round one like world beaters but a 23 round season will wear them down and prove them pretenders. Talent too lopsided. Ordinary forwards and backs cannot be covered by a good midfield at the pointy end of the season.

I don't udnerstand this Freo approach to making players train away from their team mates.
Surely isolating Bennell with a bunch of comparative hacks at Peel who mean nothing to him, is hardly going to help him sort himself out?
Would have thought giving him a week off, then having him back with his team mates where they can all support and monitor him, would make more sense, no???
