What Tom Morris just described doesn't give the MRO a heap of wiggle room if he's interpreted the Tomes of Hocking correctly...

• Head clashes classed now as "foreseeable"
• Electing to bump always classified as "careless"
• Contact is obviously high

Leaves impact the only real point of subjectivity, and the dude left the field on a stretcher with a messed up head.

I thought at the time, the Cats will cop a 1 weeker and appeal anything more than that.

Morris saying impact == high is 2 weeks and impact == severe as 3+

Be interesting to watch it play out for sure.

Although Astbury got 0 weeks for throwing an elbow because he didn't get it cleanly and didn't hurt the bloke. So who knows? The outcome is very different though.

Anything lower than high would be a joke...it was a big hit.
