Geelong lose to the wooden spooners, we beat the scum by a point after being 39 down at half time, and Danger is almost certainly out of the Easter Monday game. Couldn't really ask for anything more.

Also - footy just generally seems an order of magnitude more watchable this year so far.

They'll grade it correctly, but then refer it to the tribunal because they believe the penalty is "too high," as has happened a few times

We were told repeatedly by the MRO years ago that you are allowed to bump but if you get your opponent high, you will be reported. If Dangerfield was contesting the ball, he’d get away with it. I don’t think you should be in trouble for an accidental hit but the AFL have painted themselves into a corner over this one. Being Danger, they will probably build a new door in the corner.

Clarko cops a fair bit of negative publicity because of his “opinions” but without fail Scott is asked about an “incident”, and off he goes, rating it for the tribunal and.....crickets. I’ve just never understood the media love for the cats coach

Yup, Danger clearly made the decision to bump, so he's liable for the head clash. Careless, high contact are certain. The only way for him to play Easter Monday is if they grade it medium which they clearly will not. If they go high impact it's 2 weeks. There is no discount available.

Watching the Swans game and Gulden was real slick. Great kicking and decision making from half forward. He looks like a goal assist machine.

Swans supporters should have a lot of fun watching this team grow over the next 5 years. Warner, Wicks, Rowbottom, Mills, Heeney all very good as well.
