The Bont is a real good footballer. Hardly overrated. Dogs are going exceptionally well, missing a lot of their back 6 today.
Everytime i watch him he underwhelms, sure he does some nice things but I find myself scratching my head wondering why he's as hyped as he is. Stringer on the other hand I can definitely see why he's rated, bontempelli, not so much

Happy enough with that result to be honest.
I'm a stickler for wanting more Vic teams and less interstate teams in the finals for one, and whilst perhaps a defensive mindset, I'd take a bigger gap over 9th (finals more likely) at the expense of top4 being slightly harder to make. Port worry us at times too so am happy to keep them at arms length frankly.

Listening to Kim Hagdorn this morning on 6pr he likened the dogs to the Hawks in that they play dirty and have made throwing an art form. Disappointed that redpath (maybe not right name) didn't get cited last week for his crudeness in the marking contest where similar to Gibson and Birchall that they put an elbow or knee in at every opportunity. Nearly had an accident with the amount of eye rolling I was doing
Not surprised that tears are salty over in the west...

Between 1991, 2013 and 2015 (PF and GF for extra laughs) the Hawks have broken the Dockers and Eagles...

I saw a graphic last night that looked at this year's contenders against 5 criteria that every premiership team of the last decade have demonstrated. Interestingly the only two teams (Sturgis point of the season) that meets all 5 of those criteria was The Handbaggers and the Swines, and it got me thinking who I would be least upset about winning if heaven forbid those two happen to face off in the big dance.

While I hate them both with a passion (but not as much as * obviously), I think I'd be least upset if the Swines won.

What are others thoughts?
If the GF is a playoff between the Swans & Handbaggers I'll be paying a professional hypnotherapist to erase that week from my memory.

The Dockers are going to beat Lions by a lot. Something that Hawks struggled to do 2 weeks ago.
Freo (Lyon) has played his little tanking mini-season/master rebuild. The Dockers storm through the rest of the season and he'll be lauded as the greatest coach of all time for rebuilding the list so quickly.
