How do you get any sense out of this statement by Mark Evans re the farcical score review last night?

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-08-24/goal-review-correct-afl

He has had a crack at Channel 7 saying that the most accurate footage should have been shown to the fans. WTF, so they didn't show the most accurate footage. What a freaking circus.

Ultimately Mark Evans you have to cop it sweet as Channel hopeless are your contracted broadcaster. Get them sorted.

Channel 7 did their apology - but geez they took the Mickey while doing so. It became even more amusing when a goal review ws called for and Watson prefaced his comments with "I'm hoping I'm looking at the right camera....... "

Yes, apparently the goalpost cameras have a fish eye lens and aren't to be trusted. Well Mr. Evans, why in the actual **** would you have fish eye cameras installed on the goal line? The afl is run by half wits.
I seriously do not know how these people attract six figure incomes with the statements that they make.

Here is an idea; "Would it not be wise Mr Evans go back to your broadcast contractor and tell them to f-ing fix it or your contract gets shredded".

Why in this era have we got second rate technology run by second rate organisations who offer BS excuses for poor performance and then blame their equipment.

Any chance of Buddy's late (and highish) hit on Higgins being looked at? The commentators were quick to 'suggest' he should be fine.

As much as we want it, there was nothing in it

Kudos to Jon Ralph though for highlighting selwood's elbow in the throat
Nothing in it but it should looked at

Lake went very close again last night to putting one on Hawkins

Winning that game was huge. Not one game between the best four teams (SYD, HAW, GEE & FRE) has been won by the away team (I think...)

HAW v GEE final now :)
Bring it.

Would love to see some serious amounts of humble pie dished out by HFC to the AFL and the biased media flogs whom I doubt could remain impartial if their life depended on it.

All we want is a fair go.

is that guaranteed?? what if we hammer pies and Richmond beat Sydney?
We're still a couple of percent behind Swans even if we score 150 to 50 over the Pies next week. Then Swans could still lose narrowly and still be ahead on percentage. It's the longest of long shots.

As a hawk would be definitely looked at with possible week/s. As a swan it'll be nothing.
Would like to see the 25 different camera angles played in super slow-mo to be able to truly tell. But me thinks this somehow won't happen.

need a 90 point differential, so not far off :)

eg, if we win by 60, need richmond to win by 30.
Don't know about you guys but i'm pretty comfortable with Geelong at the MCG first week of the finals.

We could potentially play them 4 times this season. 3 times in 5 weeks.
