Yep so do I. The reality is that we need SPS and others to make giant leaps this year. If they don't and it falls on Cripps again, then we will miss out again..His body is starting to show signs of wear and tear, and he cannot be expected to keep shouldering the burden.
Should have played finals this year, even with Cripps down year, far too much complacency in games, had nothing to do with lifting.
Hawthorn game prime example, couldn't believe that being there in person, completely mind boggling how we let that happen.
SPS will likely be in the backline until end of time as sad as that is to say imo, would love to see him shine again like in Bulldogs game, but Teague and Amos seem content with him being there.
Williams and SPS could switch every now and again, but presumably Williams came to play midfield only, but we'll see how the season goes with injuries etc.
Williams certainly be a helpful addition to the midfield and expect Setterfield, Walsh etc to get better. Someone mentioned Teague expects Cunningham to play midfield minutes, so hopefully he does and gets consistency.
Need to fix method into F50, long bombing can stay in 2020 thanks CFC.
With Charlie situation being up in the air, need Mckay to kick more and midfield seriously needs to lift in the goal kicking department for future sustained success. Can't rely on the up and coming kids, they're at least a few years away from being goal kicking machines assuming they come good.
Cripps will be running more and slimming down, whatever that means, but time will tell.
Assuming he doesn't resign before end of 2021 season which you'd expect him too, could hardly blame him if he jumps ship.
