I really love capsicums but they give me bad reflux. I really enjoy some of your posting and your style but your continual derogatory comments regarding women are borderline misogyny.

Can i bring something up... how do we feel about guernseys getting worn in the off-season? Especially not long after the season has ended (and your team came nowhere near winning the Premiership).

definatly terrible thing that he/others done hope they get full extent of the law and made an example off

but also terrible for a club(even though i hate them) that just won first premership in like 35 years and seemed to be building towards better things then coming ninth

If you say thats bad go and have a look on the main board, it's appalling what a lot of the campaigners are saying ..

One of the reasons I don't travel. I have no doubt this is the best board to post on. So much work has been done on making it a safe, equal place for all. I also have no doubt I have ****ed up in the past.

Ye fair call.
Not sure what she was expecting taking that photo to be honest...especially with all the photos that circulate in social media etc from footballers.

I understand why this thought is front and centre for a lot of people. Truth be told, I too wonder what would possess someone to do this... and then I remember that no matter whether or not I think it was a stupid thing to do, she is still the victim, and has a right to expect that an intimate photo of her not be shared without her permission. Let's try not to victim blame.

If the 'man' involved had respect for women, or even respect for that woman, he would not have done it. He is the perpetrator.

Spreading intimate images of someone without consent is a crime. It's the police force's job to investigate crimes, regardless of whether or not you think it's a "pressing matter".

Exactly MEB.
Revenge p*rn is a crime in VIC & SA.
Therefore, sharing or posting explicit photos/material of others, without their consent, is a crime in these states.
Not every woman who consents to having an intimate photo taken (normally by their significant other) does so wanting to become the next Kardashian.
Nor does such 'consent' imply that the woman wants that image distributed.
That's a breech of privacy and trust and is often done to publicly humiliate and shame.
The same laws in VIC & SA would apply if it was a man in this photo.

I'd suggest that it's quite a stretch to suggest that this is a case of 'revenge p*rn', or that the photo was 'explicit'.

Huge stretch but just keep adding value to it and you can end up wherever you want.

s**t, stupid, ignorant, moronic and possibly illegal (possibly because there are always two sides to a story.....and two people were involved) etc but let's not go full-strawman and fashion it out to something tantamount to rape, shan't we?

Revenge pr0n is a media-derived term to describe the distribution of nude or sexual images without permission. In academic and legal terms, it is more commonly referred to as 'image-based abuse.' This is because it does not have to be pornographic, nor does it have to be revenge.

There are specific laws in Victoria that criminalise the distribution of an intimate or “invasive” image without consent. In both Victoria and South Australia, it is also a criminal offence to threaten to distribute an intimate or invasive image.

SUMMARY OFFENCES ACT 1966 - SECT 41DA
Distribution of intimate image
(1) A person (A) commits an offence if—

(a) A intentionally distributes an intimate image of another person (B) to a person other than B; and

(b) the distribution of the image is contrary to community standards of acceptable conduct.
