Seriously though guys can we stop making up rumors about Bevo? He's the most reliable dealer iv had and if these rumors get him busted ill be spewing
Dont worry, I'll hook you up with Bomber

Heard a rumour Bevo spends every waking hour on an internet forum, eyes buzzing from the screenburn, jacked up on adrenaline and distracted during team meetings from arguing with other forum users. Word has it that Bob Murphy has to carry him into the room.

col-ouler-ful. Full tirade, i mean interview...

Had to laugh.
Jacko set Lindsy Fox on fire TWICE.
And put brick under Trevor Barkers brake pedal.
Then calls the club 'self destructive' LOL

POT...KETTLE....BLACK.

Sacked from 4 clubs. Yet all the clubs were to blame:rolleyes:

Guy is nuttier than squirell shit.

HS this morning.... Pressure on Tom Boyd to take a pay cut so they can afford to get players like Hurley.

I actually feel bad for the kid for the pressure he is under, but mis- management from the club ( looking at you Peter Gordon ) means that decision has now come back to bite them on the bum - as predicted by many.

I can't wait for them to lose one of their guns because of it. Icing on the cake.

Boyd should just say "F*** you! You were stupid enough to offer it. So pay up".

Dont see them asking anyone else for a pay cut.
What about the coaches or the Accounts Payable guy, or heres a radical thought, sone of the other players.
So he is forced to take a pay cut for say Hurley.
Will they then go to Hurley after a year and ask him to cut his salary?
Will any player or manager have any faith in a contract with the Bulldogs?

They screwed the pooch (yes intended). Why should Boyd suffer for their incompetence?

Yep if I was another manager looking at what the Dogs offer I would be thinking twice when they put up a dollar figure. It's a lot of money but a year in you will be asked to halve it. Thank god he didn't take our offer, we should send thanks to Peter Gordon.

Is it even kosher to ask a contracted player to take a pay cut on a signed contract? Surely that's not allowed to happen.

Can you imagine if a player, say Josh Bruce last year, asked the club for more money mid contract because his output was 10x worth his basement salary he agreed to?

If they were smart, they'd ship him to Essendon. They're desperate and would suck up a good chunk of his coin.

I see that as the only way that they'll get Hurley.

They'd have to pay at least half his contract though....probably 3/4 of it

Hold on a minute, I am no expert on such matters but surely this is unacceptable and requires the players association to step in.

This sets an incredibly dangerous precedent if this were to eventuate. Club X offers player A stupid contract to join their club, otherwise they have ZERO chance of attracting them in the first place. Player A turns out to be a spud, so club X essentially provides an untenable workplace and bullies them into accepting a pay cut despite having a contract in place.

This is beyond pathetic.

Contracts can be re-negotiated, but if both parties don't agree to the new terms, it's business (or existing contract) as usual.

Beat me to it. NO WAY in hell will this be allowed to go down.
