Flashback Friday, courtesy of the Saints official Facebook page:

Round 22, 2005.

Stephen Milne was at his brilliant best, kicking a career-high 11 goals as St Kilda demolished the Brisbane Lions by 139 points at Etihad Stadium.

I remember that game so well.

First time id sat in the "Moorabbin Wing" up the top and the place was going nuts.

A week later I was at a party at a mates place watching Rob Harvey and Jimmy Gwilt go all out to beat the Crows and put us in the prelim. Everything after that just hurts...

2005 we could have taken the flag. ****!!!

Dropping Stringer against Essendon is nothing more than tokenism. If they were playing any other side and it wouldn't even cross their mind. Hope he stinks it up for Footscray

Had my u16s GF that year, got the DVD the other day, judging by the footage I was doing my best Milney impersonation. Hungry AF, the whole crowd cheered in the last when I handballed off. What's this "Stevie J kick" shite, I was ripping that off Milney from 2001 before I'd grown curlies.

Hoping for a great game tonight, few of these top of the table clashes this year have been disappointments.

Just like 1997, 2004, 2009, 2010. :'(:'(:'(

I remember really looking forward to that game after the 2004 game against Brisbane, which seems to be the consensus pick for best early Saints memory for any 18-25s on here. Best of both worlds with those two games, really.

I'd go with Robert Harvey shrugging off potatoes with ease.

Then this cat came along

Stringer is emblematic of the Bulldogs drinking their own bathwater.

That main board thread is hilarious, Dogs fans getting seriously shirty at any criticism directed towards him.

That exact clip at the start of that video is one of my all time favourite Saints clips, Milney out-marking those Hawks talks then wheeling around and slotting it like it ain't no thang.

Thank you for finding it again, I'd lost it for years.

Love Milney.

Umps had a hard time deciding who to favour tonight....free kicks 20 each!
( loved the hawthorn kick that travelled up in the air and went about 8m but the umps paid a mark in front of the goals)

My lime tree is around 80cm tall , it gets around 8 flowers each year, of which 3 grow into the pissyest little limes you ever saw.

Ive been trying to grow a dwarf nectarine tree. It's not going too well either
