Its because thats not the money line.. dogs are +17 points hcp for 2 to 1. You did pick your own line. Thats why you got better odds.

Yes but my line is more in my favour than H2H and should pay less (as it always used to).
It's: You bet on the Dogs, they win we pay 3.26 vs You bet on the Dogs, they win or lose by 1 and we'll give you 3.40.

Its not a mistake thats how the bookies work out the handicap and odds for handicap and head to head.
See bookies think gws are going to win by 17 so ofcourse the head to head odds have to be much shorter for gws compared to dogs but they then offer the dogs handicap if you want to take them to not loose by more than 17 points they offer 2 to 1. Thats why when you take odds of them not to loose by more than 1 point you get much bigger odds. They obviously think theyll loose by 17 or over.

Last night he was good. 2wks ago he was shit ordinary. Last week he got injured.

Pretty much sums up Gary Rohan - inconsistent & injury prone

And he re-signed til the end of 2020 anyway

Wasn't suggesting we go for him, just remarking on a very good performance six days after he looked like he'd had a major injury.
Injury prone is a bit rough though, his major leg injury was through contact with Thomas (?) diving into his legs. Has he had soft tissue injuries etc?

7 seasons for 77 games (78 including last night). Lots of small & large blocks of missed games in there, mostly due to soft tissue injuries

Bevo shouts travelling Dogs fans brekkie in Wodonga. You might say it's compensation for the inevitable defeat, but I think it's a nice touch. I'd like to think Saints would do something like that in similar circumstances.

I had this awful pessimistic fear last night that the Dogs win the GF this year and we do a Tigers/Pies special and get well and truly ahead of ourselves and complacent and end up back at square one this time next year!

Based on nothing but blind fear I suppose, a moment of weakness! Still, I hope the club remembers that despite our progress, we're still very short of a premiership team.

Every time they get ahead of themselves over preseason, they should all be made to watch the 2nd half of the Swans game from this year. Score got out to near 90 points after just a 5 pt deficit at half time, with the loss by 70 in the end.

The end of his year right before he did his first ACL was amazing. Really hope he can get back to that level because he looked a through and through star in the making
