About time the AFL brought these back. Shame it's not us and Sandy, hopefully next year. I think it's a great initiative, I think I can see why VFL goers might object, but I think it suits all parties longterm.

i think the AFL need to bring the reserves comp back and have it has a curtain raiser to games

this would mean the death of the VFL as we know it, but i think the AFL need to come up with a new re-energised 2nd tier comp, using the power house clubs in the 2nd tier
