wtf are there always Essendon posters on our board?
Because their team is shit.

Lets compare compare top four finishes over the past 12 years

Saints 2004 Bombers?????
Saints 2005 Bombers? ???
Saints 2008 Bombers ????
Saints 2009 Bombers ????
Saibts 2010 Bombers ????

It was completely relevant. I was concurring that we are on top of the draft table. And gave ample evidence! Dodoro is a ******* superstar mate. And I posted it on this board because I didn't see anyone comment that the bombers are on top of the drafting table on any other board. I didn't realize that opposition supporters were blocked from posting here. You must still be bitter over the Lovett and Carlisle trades, so I will bow out now.

Lol, thanks for the laughs Teeks. Sounds like you are actually pretty happy with how things are tracking over there at Bomberland. Enjoy that superstar list of yours.

Doggies could really use a decent forward target. You know, like a McCartin or something.
He'd be worth a million a year, at least.

The umpiring in that match was horrible. I thought we were persecuted but North got an absolute fingering by the little green men. They tried to even it up late but they tried their best to get the win for the Dogs. If they even up they are obviously aware of their poor performance. The deliberate out of bounds seems to be just a way to **** over one club when they need to. Friday night should be an AFL showcase and use the better umpires not the ones on the take from the bookies.

Funny I saw it the other way with holding the ball decisions and throwing. North got two holding the ball decisions that had not been paid all night. That rule is absolutely broken atm. It seems it's only paid when a player drops the ball if it is of dramatic significance and not through the middle of the ground.

I thought last nights game was a horrible spectacle. It reminded me of watching a Ross Lyon coached team bringing the opposition down to a street fight.

The Dogs without JJ & Bob Murphy are completely different & struggle to move the ball fwd with authority. Their kicking inside 50 was worse than ours against GWS.

North seemed the inferior team however took their opportunities & had marking forwards to capitalise.

I think it was like 9 frees to North and 22 to the Dogs at one point and the Dogs would walk the ball out and not get deliberate and a North player would try to paddle back in and get done. It was comical at times how inconsistent they were. Do agree on the holding the ball though. Both teams would drop the ball or flick the ball out and not get holding the ball. A few times though the players did get a foot to the ball after holding it for a while.

Sorry to say, but what we saw last night was played under finals type pressure. Regardless of shoot outs, nothing will change in finals. Premierships are built on defence.

Yeah the Dogs really need Boyd to come on. Thompson and co were easily marking the ball when it was bombed in and when Stringer didn't fire they struggled.

Bulldogs really need to trade in a top shelf KPD. Roberts, Adams & Morris just have no answer to big tall power forwards. They made Waite look like a superstar with Petrie & Boner chiming in nicely. The perfect pick up for them would have been Cale Hooker IMHO, but he re-signed

To win by 3 goals & lose the inside 50 count by 10 in a really low scoring game, that is a bloody massive effort from Norf & shows that Bulldogs defence is shite

I reckon they need a top shelf KPF more than a KPD. Their defense kept a very potent forward brigade to 61 points. The problem was they only scored 45 themselves and looked listless going forward.

I agree & disagree. If you look at who kicked the goals for Norf, it was all the forwards bar Ziebell (Waite, Petrie, Thomas, Brown, Higgins kicked the others). To me that indicates that the Dogs won the midfield battle 46-56 inside 50s but Norf forwards were just far too potent.

If they have a Cale Hooker at full back on Waite, then they probably win.

On the flip side....

If they have a gun KPF, they go close but ultimately I'd have Thompson winning that battle & thus Kangas still win IMO
