Francis Leach is such a flog over Adam Goodes. Still wants to brand everyone a racist.

On anothet note, how much better has this round been without Goodes's self serving politicising of our game.

On still another note. Watch Cleverman on ABC. Apparently melds storys from the Dreamtime with a stort of si fi mysticism.

Looks really interesting

Gotta love the Freo melt downs on the various threads on the main board. Never seen fans of the worst team so unwilling to accept their fate, although when your fall is that dramatic I guess I can see how it'd be hard to take.

Had a look at their draw since the bye round last year, which seemed to be the turning point:

Wins
Lions x2, Saints x2, Blues x2, Demons x2, Bombers, Pies, Power, Owen Dockers, Adelaide, North

Losses
Cats, Eagles, Lions, Crows, Hawks, North, Giants

Aside from the win* against Adelaide this year, it's extremely soft and hardly an impressive batch.

Their next month will be very interesting, Eagles (Etihad), Power (AO), Cats (ES) and Swans (SCG).

Just want to go on record - we need to respect the blues who as I write this are currently 20 points up against Geelong at half time

We will need to bring a more consistent effort if we are going to win against them. I have no doubt we can do it but it is not a lay down misere as some of us (me included) thought at the start of the season. Bolton has them playing well as a team and getting the most out of players like Gibbs etc.

We need a 4 qtr effort to win. I think it will be a good game and close but hoping we can jag a win against them

Because the comp is so even this year I dont think there is any easy games. If you dont give 100% you'll lose no matter who you are.

Carlton's pressure (perceived and real) coupled with our 'sloppy' disposal at times and habit of dropping in and out of games makes the game against them in a couple of weeks a real headache.

I'm still confident of winning in a fortnight as well as the fixture later in the season, but Carlton's on field organisation can not be taken lightly.

They're a completely different side to last year. Docherty has been huge (not just for my sc side). They're two down and are keeping a 4 goal margin on the cats.
Geelong are overrated. Shut down Danger & Motlop & they're vulnerable.

Having a healthy list this year helps, hope they get ahead of themselves and **** this rebuild up

Perhaps, but we'd be freakin stoked to be 4 goals up at three quarter time against them.

Hate the Blues but will be gunning for them this quarter. Will bring the pussies down to earth a little bit with their last two weeks effort.

I don't think we'd get too excited. We drew with them last year. Only difference is they used 2 drafts worth of picks for Dangerfield, Smith & Henderson, whereas we went to the draft & got Gresham, White, Rice to go with Carlisle & Freeman.

They should be better & have started the year well, but I just feel they've been riding the wave of 'we've got Dangerfield' & it's wearing off a little now

Carlton will beat us with how they're playing
Their ability to win clearances around the ground as well as at centre bounces and spread well is an extremely worrying combination.

I'm not sure whether opposition sides are just simply underestimating them this season or they aren't preparing well enough as their game style isn't anything near rocket science - it just relies on desperation for the most part.

I really hope AR and the coaching panel are watching this afternoon.
