Brisbane need some help - a change of coach wont do it. They are paying the price of so many kids leaving them in the last 3-4 years. No club can cover that.

Maybe they just order GWS to give them 6 (1st or 2nd round picks) players from their reserves or something like that? (kidding/joking but something needs to be done for the good of the game)

In 2000 we were stone motherless last. 2001 2nd last. 2002 2nd last.
Meanwhile Brissy were 2 Premierships into their 4 grand finals in a row with a 3 peat.
Back then do you think they were worried about us? Hmmmm probably not.

I'm not sure what the club gets from finishing 9th. We have already shown our fans optimism this year, if we finish 13th it won't have much of an affect on potential members for next season. There's more positives in finishing 13th than there is in finishing 9th.

Knocking on the door to the finals would put us as a more attractive proposition for Friday nights and the other prime spots meaning more people come to our games and more people watch our games on TV so sponsors are more likely to tip in more money.

This fall a few places to get a better draw is fool's gold IMO. When the draw was done last year, Essendon still had a full list and Fremantle were coming off a Prelim. Maybe you could have predicted the Essendon bans but not that Freo would fall so far. The relative ease of a draw can only be judged in hindsight and we want to play the best every week so we can become the best.

He's playing the role Jack Steele has been playing for them. I guess Steele going to the Sainters has him out of favour.
