I like what Melbourne are doing from a recruiting point of view, but it's exactly games like today why I don't perceive them as a future threat like I do the Dogs and GWS. Just not a club that knows how to win

I actually think Roos is tanking by leaving out players who would help them win this year. He's got his sights set on leaving a finals quality list. they could have leap frogged us this year but have chosen to leave out established players to get the kids played. They have depth now and will add further depth from another draft and hit 2017 in good shape with a new coach. It's a dangerous game though, setting a losing culture can back fire easily.

You should see Tomahawk -****ing w***er pulls a player to ground and the opponent put his hand out grabs his jumper and they give him a free 20 meters out. The play before he tackles a Brisbane player high way after he marks. They call play on instead of 50 meters. He gets given an arm chair ride. The umps are corrupt.

2010 is the one I regret. If we'd gone Darling and Fasolo with our 1st and 2nd... then grab Dalhaus later. Giles, Pederson, Hibberd, Jenkins, Puopolo all available as mature age pick ups. Maybe even McGovern as a wee speculative pick.

Tanking to get a lower second round pick to pass on for Hibberd? Their first this year is with Gold Coast I thought?

So last night on C7 they rated the "top KPF under 25".

The 5 they rated were Lynch, Cameron, Hogan, Moore and Daniher.

Assuming Tom Boyd is going to be a ruck (and I think he will be a very good one, Brad Ottens style) then I have to wonder where McCartin would rate if he got a run at it.

Based on the 15 mintues of footy he played yesterday I would have him above Daniher and Hogan and fighting with Moore for 3rd spot.

Moore more athletic and greater flexibility but Paddy the better mark and set shot.

Watching both Hogan amd Daniher today and they just dont look like the kinds of forwards to drag a losing team over the line. They look good in a good team.

Paddy plays like he is going to drag us over the line all by himself in every single game. He takes on all the responsibility and usually nails it.

If he can stay fit then he and Membrey are gping to slaughter some teams over the next few years while Brucey becomes the forgotten man
