Last year he was behind Shiel and I wonder if it's that Treloar is better or that the ball can only get so many touches and he is lost in the depth of GWS? Anyway he's ridiculously good and I wish we had got him.

Haha, Buddy? Buddy is agile and fast. Joe D is more shades of Scotty Lucas. Kicks the odd 60 metre monster and other than that is a bit slow.

Yeah he was okay wheeling around and setting sail from ridiculous distances but he's still prone to ****ing up easy set shots. I reckon he'll be more Cloke than Buddy.

i reckon it's the fact he's been played as a wingman so up against 30 or so premium quality mids. As a forward on yesterdays display he'd be in still.

maybe they accidentally added the two Tom Lynches together and thought this guy's awesome he's often playing two games in different parts of the country and in two teams.

Would've thought that if they couldn't put him on a wing they would slot him in on HFF or at least on bench. Done much more than Gunston, Lynch (Adel), Jenkins etc.
 
Would've thought after yesterday Roo would be a lock.

they seem to put them vaguely into zones for AA unless they are so dominant that they can pinch back a spot on a flank for one of the excess mids. Wingers can get bundled in against the true mids so guys who regularly get 30 possessions are first picked and there are a heap of them these days. I think Jack Steven is probably the only player at the Saints who has had an elite season so probably fair. Rooey stands out as an elite forward but he's only very good as a wingman. Armo fell away and Ross will probably have to back up a good season to be considered next year. Jack was unlucky based on the year before. Armo had a down year but if he'd played like last he would have been a walk up.
