I thought during the week the bye weekend was a good idea - stopped mass resting and built suspense for the finals - but it's really a terrible one.

He played some damn good games. Also, Ablett and May and Swallow and O'Meara didn't play many games.

Watched it on Foxtel and enjoyed it a lot. Was going to go, but they said it was sold out and then there were plenty of empty seats in the stadium

Apparently Bob Sharpless was not well received at all by the audience, said Leppa(who didn't attend obviously) was okay with what happened. Coaches weren't mentioned by any of the player accepting awards, made mention of physio's and doctors but no one mentioned any coaches all night.

Yep we got dudded agin. They had some footy club presidents talking about it last week on SEN, one said it will be worth at least a million bucks a year to them and has benefits beyond that with membership generation atc. We always get ****ed by the AFL and were one club that put in a heap of work while others got a free hit with little effort.

We were never going to. After the Dogs and Melbourne already had them earmarked there was no chance we were getting one of the remaining 2 Vic spots. Big waste of time and money even going for it tbh.
