Ladder predictor says if we win by 100 and Pies win by 60 and Freo wins, we finish 7th. This is important because it means we play Richmond next instead of Sydney.
But what if we win by 200 and manage to put the Tigers back to the 1990's?

Will they then forfeit the match as well?

But yeah, not an ideal result, but good enough, just need the other stars to align themselves for that nice view of blokes shoulders quivering; "what do you mean he gets carried off to a guard of honour again?".

The most implausible part of that scenario is us winning a game by 100 points. We always take our foot of the throat at the end if it's getting too brutal. The nicest team in the league.

Nah, we'd be 105 points up with 26 seconds to play and we all know what happens next...

Wow.
There's just something about broadcasters that project professionalism that makes it seem like they'll go forever.
Blokes like Drew, Tony Greig, Richie Benaud, Lou Richards - these guys just oozed charisma and standards. You just knew whenever one of these guys was commenting it was informative and riveting stuff.
You could listen to them for hours, like your Pop reeling off old stories...
Looks like the Upstairs Bar gets another stool.

11 goals is about the tipping point -- that is, I just put Melbourne losing by 10 and us beating Richmond by 10 in the ladder predictor and it had them 0.9 percentage points in front of us.

He's a good player when he gets on the park. Aish....not so much. WTF happened with him, he looked like a gun at junior level.
Aish is just overawed by it when against men, similar story with Boyd only without the whole prospect of being an alright player with time since midfielder types are a dime a dozen with the constant overabundance of ways to make a midfielder.

Pies have had 3 bites at the top 10 of the 2013 draft. Somehow Sharenberg somehow is looking like the most likely to make it now!

Keep going Pies! Tagging both Oliver and Hibberd looking a pretty smart move.

It will be really amusing if Melbourne choke their way out of finals.
It would take quite an effort, but I suppose they're up to the task. How were we not competitive against them a couple of weeks ago?

If Melbourne miss we have to as well, so I don't really have a dog in that fight.

Norf are so shit they can't even tank properly!

As for Melbourne, I will laugh at their cocky supporters dealing with 9th spot if Wet Toast kill Freo and the Injectors win.

Not as much as I'd laugh if we make it but I'll still laugh

Actually if Melbourne lose by enough, and we win by enough we can finish above them in the 8.

We'd also need West Coast to lose in that situation.

However if Essendon lose as well we can also jump them regardless.

So there's a tiny chance that Essendon and Melbourne choke their way out of finals for us and West Coast.
