Taberner tries to be a thug but isn't even very good at that. He's young, but I'm not convinced. Crowley would've made a difference and been better than De Boer. Pav cooked. Fyfe injured.

The big question, is how did those two gun free agents go tonight? Of course I'm talking about Sylvia and Gumbleton!

I don't usually sink the boots in, but Lyon leaving is still raw with me.

Spudded it up tonight. Probably a bit over awed. But I think he could be a decent 2nd target with McCarthy in a more attacking side, only 22 so he's got time. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt

If Ross is your head coach you do everything one way... The Ross way. Experienced spuds galore with young talent not getting a go. It's sad, but also satisfying to see.

Lol sure Ross isn't in charge of recruitment but he still picks the final 22 each week and that ensures the likes of Weller, Langdon, Blakley, Apeness and Ballard will struggle for game time.

He wouldnt give games to Armo and Steven over McQualter and Rob Eddy. Does anyone really think he will play Weller over Tendai Mzungu after old mate took him to a prelim?

Dead set, watch Lyon's presser from last night and then go and watch his presser from the 2009 GF - The exact same questions about gameplan get the exact same answers. He even makes a comparison to the 2009 GF as far as poor goal kicking skills costing his side. Hasn't evolved at all in 7 seasons of football.

Meanwhile the Hawks have changed game plan 3 times since 2008.....
