Much rather Freo win than Hawthorn. Cannot stand almost everything about that team.

I don't mind the Hawks. I got used to them as my partner barracks for them.

any team that has Lyon in it, I will forever (I hope) hope they lose the grand final.

WHY, you might ask, is the AFL so wedded to the place? Well, maybe because AFL boss Mike Fitzpatrick owns the company that holds the majority stake in the place...

I recognise my bias, but interesting words by Warren Tredrea about the how "vitally important" (his words) a chaplain is to a footy club. I also remember that Shane Savage has stated in the past that he saw the Saints' lack of one as an example of how we are under-resourced compared to the Hawks, who do have a "chaplin" as he wrote.

Was listing to radio on the weekend and Cripps stats don't show he is a down hill skier, 25 goals and said he was 1st or 2nd in forward pressure acts in the AFL not bad for a small forward. Just found it interesting some of the stats they read out about him

Cripps has become a pretty good player. We got absolutely reamed on this trade. Hopefully the time will come where we get the opportunity to bend WC over as well, we shouldn't hesitate if we do. Not a club there is any point maintaining good trading relations with.

Saw a tweet from SEN from the weekend about dal Santo and Goddard.

Dal Santo and Goddard had words on the weekend which I found a bit odd. The tweet basically was Dal saying Goddard has annoyed him for 14 yrs so he had to have words.

Wondering if those who watched them for so many years know anything about it? Wasnt a rift I was aware of though admittedly the saints not one of the teams I keep up to date on as a priority.

Any info appreciated. Thanks guys

Probably had something to do with Goddard being a real hot head at training and in games. Was really good at letting you know if you did something wrong. Or of course he could just be joking which Dal does a lot of.
