I think Suns looked a lot more promising than the Puddy Tats today.
Suns just have some teething probs under a new coach, but looked to have clicked again today.
The Cats have been bloody awesome for yrs but i think the aura has gone. They are on the way down.

they will probably give us and melb a touch up but arent a danger to the top 4 anymore.
Thier home ground dominance seems to be fading Fast.
but hey!! Id be quite happy to drop off after 3 flags.

Never count out the cats with selwood, Hawkins (didn't play) and Taylor. Their the afl version of the Spurs and always find a way to be their in the finals picture.

They've come out slow and had to play the Hawks and freo the 2 hottest teams atm. Just wait for round 22 to completely write them off

Well for one they won't trade Menzel when they're rebuilding he is their most talented youngster by a mile.

Wouldn't be against Yarran same age as Steven and would fit in our side but no doubt Carlton would probably want overs.

They'd also want a heap for Gibbs and at his age I wouldn't be touching him. Would be 29/30 when we likely contend same as Yarran actually when you think about it.

Doubt we will be touching anyone from Carlton.

You know what though, if he wanted out, and the price was right (i.e looooow), I reckon I'd think about it.

Would be a genuine list clog IMO. i.e. his current output would probably exceed Paddy for the next year or two, but the opportunity cost of that, the loss of exposure and experience for Paddy/Bruce/Membrey/White is far too high a price to pay. Those 4 all have significantly more potential than a massive bloke who can't drop the ball onto his boot properly. Likewise, Bruce and Membrey have both shown very sticky hands in patches, and so there isn't a need for him at all.
