He's so strong in the tackle and getting a handball off, great in traffic and has neat disposal. Reminds me of a young Simon Black, will be a ripper.

Neat by hand, sure, but I'm not so sure by foot. Either way, he'll be a very good player for the Blues.

Little wanted Hird gone but Hird threatened to sue the club. Just shows how selfish the man is. He'll certainly leave the club kicking and screaming. Fans are starting to turn.

Stan is a really great guy. I've met him three times when he's spoken and he's been lovely every time. Also, after the 97 GF my brother wrote him a very emotional (and positive) letter and Stan wrote a personalised response. You have absolutely nothing to fear.

Well they obviously couldn't because the drugs scandal, but like any other club, they can pull the pin based on performance and pay him out.

apparently they actually sacked him, went through the process, brought him in. broke the news to him and started finalising it, only for him to turn around and claim unfair dismissal, which apparently he would have won. so they reverted the decision.

Not too carried away with it, as Lions only had 6 listed players including rookies in their team to go with the 8-10 pure NEAFL blokes. The rest were QAFL & U18 top ups
