After all that Freo only 17pts up

Expected otherwise from an RL lead team? King of dominating general play and having a lead of sub 3 goals leading to "holy shit how'd we lose that from winning all the things?"

Geez Sandilands gets away with an almighty number of throws.

There is no bigger cat in the AFL than Danyle Pearce.

Neither of these teams can win the flag, too many role players & not enough pure footballers IMHO

Agreed, last nights loser looked better than both teams today, WCE firming as favourites now and you'd back them to toast Freo.

Sydney were terrible, undermanned and still barely lost. Hopefully Hawthorn win through next week and put Freo to the sword.

If Hawthorn make the GF they'll win it IMO so I hope this doesn't happen. Freo, despite Ross, are nowhere near as dislikable as Hawthorn are at the moment (personal opinion obviously).

I wonder if that's the difference between playing at the G and at Etihad. The Dogs' forward press would be more effective at Etihad.
Not sure if it makes a huge difference. Collingwood' forward press in 2010 was unbelievable and they played at the G every week. Then there's WC who are good on their even bigger ground as well. Probably more about execution.

The best thing for the Dogs is that this game is at the G. They will be aiming to play grand finals in coming years, so you have to learn how to win finals at the MCG & these games provide invaluable experience for the big dance

Yeah, I'm just saying, for the Bulldogs, they're not used to having to deal with the extra space at the MCG.
