On a side note, you've gotta give it to hawthorn. They've completely transformed McEvoy. When he was with us he couldn't beat a turtle over 20m. Now he moves like a ruck rover. (Well, almost!)

You reckon? Looks pretty much the same to me, still can't win a hitout particularly not against Sandilands. Always been a smart player with good hands and boot for a big man. I think Hawthorn's ball movement, disposal skills and teamwork do a lot to make him look faster and less zombie like than he did with us.

A lot slimmer and mobile for mine. No doubt, always had good hands and finishing skills. Just reckon he runs on top of the ground now. Not like when he was with us

Desperately hoping the Hawks get it done. As I type McEvoy treats Dawson like a witches hat and nails the goal.

I know there are some here who will forever rate Dawson and what he brought to the club, but for me he is one of the most overrated and longest running spuds of all time.

Does a role I guess. Has done well for the career he's had. Especially with his skills and brains

I actually don't mind it 'in play', but if the shot is after the siren then it should be straight line only

Not sure if Pav is going to play on next year, but it appears his only role in this team is to diffuse all of the spotfires caused by Ballantyne.

Perhaps he could follow Kane Cornes in his future career.

Mind you, just having a joke, lots of respect for the Pav and it's sad to see a bloke potentially go out like that after a stellar career.
