Simon Meredith is a shifty campaigner... Told my dad & I at golf a few years ago that they (the umps) love not paying free kicks to Schneider after he clapped in their face & the greatest justice of all was that ump not paying that free kick for holding the man in the last quarter of 2009 GF when Schneids got dragged down before taking possession of the loose ball 35m out from our goal

What really annoys me is a soft free kick in front of goals when in general play a player can have his head ripped of and its play on. A slight tug of the jumper 25 metres - free kick. Lose your head in a hard contest in the middle - play on

Its pathetic really - its a tough game and no one should get a soft free kick at any time.
