Gilligan Mc Cockless will say its all paranoid delusions and there was nothing to suggest the complete f#@% up that obviously determined the out come of both games was an issue. People will just put up with it and we will wonder why nothing changes.

North lost it when they couldn't sustain it as they let the Eagles get back in and dictate terms from then on. It was an effort and a half to keep them goalless in the 1st, but to only kick 3 yourself, North needed to be 5-6 goals in front to throw down that gauntlet and they couldn't.

the decision against Dal Santo for to high was confusing to say the least, some of the calls were ones that were out of no where and if called they should have been blowing everything but were random

Ray Chamberlain looks for free kicks I can't understand why we tolerate crap like that. He really enjoys paying frees, puts himself above the game and yet he's allowed to go on. I don't think it affected the result because North were putrid after quarter time but it didn't help them that's for sure.

Clearly completely wrong. Incidental contact because the WCE player ran into Dals arm. Hardly touched him anyway. The eagles were to strong in the end and as they have Crippa and Hutchy playing for them I hop they can beat the Hawks next week. The Hawks have Ben but they have had enough flags. Who would have thought at three quarter time of the 1971 GF the gap in flags would be so large. Go WCE. Having said that Hawks by plenty.

Told my dad & I at golf a few years ago that they (the umps) love not paying free kicks to Schneider after he clapped in their face & the greatest justice of all was that ump not paying that free kick for holding the man in the last quarter of 2009 GF when Schneids got dragged down before taking possession of the loose ball 35m out from our goal

I can tell you Simon was hoping Stkilda would win , he did not umpire that game Shaun Ryan who does
barrack for Geelong did , always says he barracks for South Warnabool and smiles when asked.
We also had Mcburney who hated Stkilda.
Simons father and mother are red hot Swans supporters and his grandfather on mothers side is in swans team
of the century , but he barracked for them as South Melbourne when they moved he said no way he was following
Sydney.

Freo were a fair way off hawthorn. They've never been close to a flag. 2013 hawthorn controlled the game for 3 qtrs, bar one good quarter from freo. They're a poor mans st kilda circa 2010. The games moved past Ross, in 2013 his game plan/zone was destroyed by a short possession game, this year the same thing happened. You'd think after 2 years he'd adapt. Also he's not a modern day managerial coach that develops those around him. How many coaches has Clarkson developed now? How many younger players has he developed? Ross you'd be lucky to find one coach and 3-5 players. Clubs grab Ross Lyon types as assistants now

I don't agree, Ross is getting teams close and just falling down, getting that close says he does something right. You have to keep going to the well and eventually he will get a team that will nab a flag. He had bad luck with Fyfe going down and a couple of crucial frees going to the Hawks. His game plan leaves them vulnerable to come back but strategically there aren't many better at getting everything from his team. He needs 2 KPFs and FB now but he amazes me with what he can achieve with the players at hand.
