I have no doubt this is part of their "delist or trade 1/3 of the list" strategy. I DO applaud them for committing to a rebuild 100% finally but this is the kind of rebuild that has had Melbourne stuck in shitsville for a decade so I question the wisdom behind it all. But hey, couldnt happen to a nicer team!

IMO, Savage onto the wing - unless we decide to go with Webster or Roberton there - and Freeman out until we're sure of this hammies.

Goddard to full back and one of the smalls onto the pine. Fisher to play as 3rd tall and Dempster and Robbo to roam free.

Not bashing Freeman, but he's played 0 afl games. He is firmly sitting in the others line. How did they come up with him in the starting line up?

He must be good because he used to have Collingwood hype. Don't you remember how good Heritier used to be... apparently.
Honestly if all goes well it may only be a couple of weeks between when he's declared fit enough to play ( or round one whichever is last ) and cementing a spot. But its all speculative and we can't pencil him in just yet. Cale Morton was going to be a gun too.

Ahhhh i see Clint Jones and Big Spence both gonna play for Perth next yr.
Ive never really followed a team in the WAFL so i might have to take an interest in Perth next season to see how the boys go

Its no crime to not make it at the top level cos you didnt quite cut it physically or mentally. Its a tuff gig and not everyone is up to it.
Good luck to Spence Hope he kicks some bags and enjoys his footy over there.
