Anyone been following the Jess Hosking issue over in the West?

Incredibly messy, she's now seeking legal assistance, wants to continue playing (albeit not for WCE I'd assume).

I just caught up on it...

Best she gets out of WA!! Pretty sure she will get a gig somewhere else, just make sure she lives in her own place!!

She is still living with the Petrie's???

Read on reddit that she’s playing house with Drew’s wife (I assume ex wife now) and his children. He’s moved out.

Is she seeking legal assistance because WCE sacked her in contract. Which they reserve the right to because of misconduct.

Was she sacked??

could you fill me in pls?

If you’re asking why Jess Hosking is seeking legal action, no one would know specifically but can probably guess. If she got sacked because she had an affair with Drew Petrie’s wife ( they were housing Jess when she moved to WA), maybe the legal action is because she felt she was under contract the club shouldn’t have sacked her. That’s a guess though.

Given this may end up in a legal action i reckon this is probably enough detail on the topic.

That’s fair. If the mods even want to delete posts (if it’s needed, looking like it isn’t), go for it.

I see Grace Egan has been given the boot from Richmond, still a handy player. Wonder if she was causing a few issues internally

Interesting, but if it’s an attitude thing then yeah I guess it’s not too surprising.

Was more surprised to see Brad Lloyd’s name pop-up as leading the review of Richmond’s AFLW program. Involved in exit interviews and the like. Not sure it’s the wisest call but…

And now the 2023 No. 1 pick has requested a trade to North ... I guess there'll be no-one challenging them for another couple of seasons ... :(
Does the women's comp have compensation picks? I remember we lost Prespakis, Gee and Harris (among others) with no compo.

I'm genuinely not sure, but this isn't a free agency thing, I think it's just an out-of-contract situation. But North will have to trade for her.

Having said that though, the point remains that an already ridiculously strong team just gets stronger.
