Most new cars look 💩.
And the tech is shit. My car has so many annoyingly frustrating bits of tech that have lazily been introduced.

If I go around a corner or curved road and there's an intersection at the curve, my collision alert will get triggered if there's a car right up against the line. This is why when I'm in that position I always hold back, + it allows me to roll in with traffic.

The annoying thing is that its too sensitive with city driving. Take a round about for example, in Adelaide you've got this busy one near Fullarton and you have to walk into the available spot and yet it triggers off every time. Cars pull in front of you to go into a supermarket or something and it goes off despite being plenty of time and space.

My car is also horrendous at keeping speed. If I set to 82km/hr knowing it's about 79/80 callibrated. The car accelerates hard up the hill, even when it hits 82 it keeps going up to 86-88 before it backs off, then I'm coming down and there's a delay for dropping the gears. It's massively slow to respond. Even the other day I set it to 78 in the Adelaide Hills and it got up to 84. Seriously terrible for a new car.

In general for the whole wide world 2025 has been a boring year.
Apparently, for some Gen Zs and Alphas, they already feel nostalgic for 2025

The whole 6-7 thing is a fad like every other one that preceeded it. People are getting all upset about it but with all the stuff out there, it's essentially harmless fun that keeps kids entertained until the next big fad hits. This is nothing new. At school we all watched Fast Forward and cracked the same jokes over and over and over again.

I keep hearing the term brain rot to describe this but seriously how many slang terms or phrases do we hear for a period of time until they fade into obscurity. I know right!

Even as adults we have a bit of fun with it but it moves on with the rest of time. Just like:

Frog in a Blender
Manequin challenge
Harlem Shake......

I say let's have fun with hit while it's in vogue and let it fade into obscurity on it's own course.

I don't remember doing anything different when I was a kid, we just had different fads.

The Manequin was an underrated movie.
Shhh, last thing we need now is another 5 threads in the movie forum from a certain Pies supporter.
