On the topic of Adelaide I do think Don Pyke would be worth a look at as a coach or even to fill Richardsons role. No coach has ever been sacked with as high a win/loss record as him (60%). Adelaide at their best were a pleasure to watch when he was coach.

Absolutely it's tainted him, the player revolt has been far too significant to ignore.

Has a touch of crazy Bossy/Neeldy about him. In a year or two might be worth a looks as an assistant but still has too much baggage that we could do without. He did get them playing very well, but also very poorly in his last two years.

Plenty of ex-demons have pointed the finger at Neeld for being a horrible campaigner.

I don't know that he's been singled out but more the general reputation he has. Maybe it's unfair, but I see it as a risk not worth taking for the time being. We have enough mediocre coaches on the payroll already and even though he's the best performed of any of them doesn't come with a glowing reference.
More a vibe thing than anything else, and more ammo to be shot at us if/when things go south.

How wonderful for them 12 months ago, things must be going fantastically well in west lakes, as I said probably why they sacked their coach. If you want to argue the point that Nicks is the sole reason the crows are shit maybe head over to their board big guy I have no interest, happy to have the conversation as to why Goodwin is the worst coach in the league in my opinion if your up for it, but I will say thing that get you all worked up.

Their style of play is sexy, ours is horrendous. 100% enjoyed watching their game last night far more than I have watching us this year expect for maybe against Hawthorn.

Bulter and Kent in particular are great to watch.

A lot of it probably comes down to confidence, I'm not sure their list is any better than ours but they are playing miles better. They remind me of us in the back in end of 2018. Quick ball movement off turnovers, clean, tough. They are a team perfectly in sync with each other.

Hopefully means we'll hire Clarkson at least when he gets fired... but then we'll re-Melbourne him...

Oh jesus you're exhausting to talk to. I was about to say how pointless this conversation was since we were essentially arguing whether Nicks had an excuse for having the worst start to his career that any coach has ever had and I seriously don't care. I think we've already had that conversation, but since you basically just repeat the same three points over and over I honestly can't be bothered.
