Not to get ahead of myself but if we beat WCE, Sydney, and Carlton and Adelaide drop a game to Carlton or the Dogs we'll be equal (on ladder points) with them heading into our game in Round 17.

Yeah I'm getting ahead of myself.
Just a bit. We need to knock over the Eagles somehow this week first.

Warney's IPL team!
The main thing for us is to keep winning, if the pies and blues get up this week and we win I think that puts a game clear in 4th?

But if we lose we are right in amongst the pack with all those sides. It's a crazy tight season this year. Only 2 games and percentage off 4th and 16th.

Yup. Only way we are safe is if we keep winning.

That's why we have to aim for top four IMO. Top 8 isn't good enough, all the sides between 5 and 12 are more or less at the same standard and if we want to be the best we need to be a step above

Tonight is a tough game on the road without Watts but next week is an absolute must win v Sydney at the MCG. No excuses. I'm confident about both

Biffinator you were spot on when you said that our club's DNA has changed. We are now a very tough, hard, never say die outfit. The contrast could not be more marked. It would make for a fascinating study as to how they achieved this massive cultural change. How did it happen? Who drove it? Was it PJ or Roos? Is it JT and the type of players we've recruited?

It's just been an incredible transformation. I am so thankful. Our trademark used to be that we were the softest team in the comp. Now we are the hardest.

And how's our depth now?! Once Joel Smith is back our defence could be:

B. Nev OMac Smith
HB. Hibberd Frost Hunt

That's exceptional I reckon. So much pace and rebound with Smith, Hunt, Frost and Hibberd. As back ups we have Salem, Melksham, Harmes, Lewis, Jones, White who can all play in defence.
