I understand you like keeping the lid on things here, having had your hearts broken too many times (a pain I know too well), so allow me to say this for you (it shouldn't count as a jinx):
1. Fantastic win last night
2. You guys are going places
3. I wish you the best of luck for the rest of the year, in fact the ultimate luck.

How good has the last month been as a Melbourne supporter?

The win before the bye, the Watts goal to ice the game against the Pies, the belting of the Dogs, #YouReady?, the Tommy Bugg murial, and last nights epic win.

Bloody fantastic!
And we are going so far under the radar its ridiculous.
If Collingwood had won four on the trot the level of media would be stupid.

Warney's IPL team!
I was listening to sen on Friday and the amount of Carlton fans ringing up creaming themselves over Liam jones and how they are finals bound was hurting my brain. It's making we really conflicted for today's game, really it's better if the blues win for us but I can't stand the current hype behind a side who plays 9 defenders and chip ball around like soccer players.

It's genuinely funny to me. Last week was all about how bad the reigning premiers are going with a footnote on the Dees going alright as well ... this week there has been so many close games that because ours was in Perth it probably will only get 10% of the coverage, never mind the fact we've got the longest win streak in the league and are running neck and neck with Sydney as the form team in the competition right now.

I've no issue with it, happy for anyone to wake up one morning in the coming months and wonder when Melbourne became a top 4 team.

Just gave that ladder predictor thingy a go. Did it without gaming it just going for who looked likely to win based on giving the win mostly to home teams in close games. Had us second on % with 15 wins, 3 games behind GWS. :rainbow:
Lol. Who knows. We're in good form now but that mightn't last forever. If we win next week and against Adelaide in a few weeks we'll deserve to finish top 2, but even then we have a lot of 60-40 games + we need to play GWS + we need to beat North for the first time in a decade. GWS don't have an easy run home either - they have to play us, of course, but also Geelong twice, Sydney, Richmond at the MCG, and the Bulldogs at Etihad

I had us losing to the Sydney teams and beating the rest. Does depend on the injuries ******* off though. Not having a ruck has been the only thing stopping us beating the shit out of everyone in the middle. Throw your lids out.
