so when an account gets banned how do you stop them from just opening another one?

I doubt it. Maybe they ban the email address but there are plenty of banned posters who have turned up later in new forms.

According to their fans there job is to keep the umpires honest and to ensure no vic-bias makes it across the nullaboor. It will be interesting to see if they still do it with as much dedication as they do when it's to benefit their own team.

A combination of detective methods really - the admins systems themselves can match user data and IP stuff, but a committed troll can get past the barriers with multi emails and VPNs. But the worst of the banned users manage to expose themselves regardless over time when a mod recognises the style. Plus the real fruitcakes will keep doing whatever got them cancelled in the first place, with much the same results.

I don’t envy admin at all. Chasing the really disturbed types like Seawind around dozens of boards creates hours of work in clean-up.

I don’t think so. I honestly think he got jack of it one day - he’s a strong willed person. Maybe he will turn up again sometime

Board did one meetup a few years ago, each to their own but I probably wouldn't bother going. Love this board and all but I'd rather go with friends to a game than meet randos.

I went to a meet up of the Facebook group one.... found it's a bunch of cheer squad nuffies who all fawn over this slapper called Brodie who feeds off the collective thirst like a hive mother.

Go join their group and you'll see it all.

As for all the folks here, I reckon I'd rather keep my perfect images alive, than kill them.with harsh cold reality
