I actually thought that we're a top 4 side while watching that game. The pressure was massive, I think that's something we can match. Neither team were spectacular.
It's not about being spectacular, it's about not ****ing up under that pressure.
Dropped marks, kicks across goal, stuffing up a kick inside, bad handballs, letting a bloke behind the zone etc..we aren't at that stage yet.

There was a shitload of fumbles and stuff last night. I don't think we would've been that different.

Our mistakes nearly cost us all 3 games this season, Port and Richmond don't let us off the hook early when they bang on 5 in a row.

Port made loads of mistakes especially in front of goal. Could easily say that nearly cost them the game.

I'm not sure your point? Both tigs and power played at a very high level most of the night. We haven't put together that level of footy for 4 quarters yet. We did it for 1 against Freo, 2 against the saints and 2 vs GWS

Tigers are going to struggle to make top four this year IMO. I know they always storm home but they still have to play at the Gabba, Giants Stadium and Perth twice (plus Metricon). Unprecedented amount of travel for them this year.

Giants stadium and Freo in Freo is piss easy for them.

Dogs have to do Perth twice, power in Adelaide and GWS aswell.
Cats away to Freo, Port, Brisbane and Sydney..

The Tigers have a terrible record away from Melbourne though, unlike the Dogs and Cats. Can’t remember them ever winning at Giants Stadium.

An yet they've won 3 of 4 premierships.
Just gotta win most of their games in Melbourne which they will and they're most of the way there.

GWS are looking ordinary and will probably be missing several guns. Don't see it as the threatening place that it might have been a couple of years ago.

FWIW I think if we play either of those sides on current form we lose. That being said I don't think either side set the world on fire either. Was a good game to watch but the spectacle was aided a bit by the crowd. Dogs, Swans and Eagles look like the best teams in it at the moment.

Perhaps. This is easily the most difficult draw they’ve ever had though. Wouldn’t want to lose too many more games at the MCG.

The game is in R22. GWS weren’t much better last year but they still beat the Tigers at home after losing four of their previous six games.

You'd wanna see a hell of alot more from Sydney and the Dogs before youd pen them in to get the 15+ wins required to make the 4
You’re the only one who’s said anything about either of those sides

Looks like a close practise game with Williamstown. We are up by 10 points with not long left.

If anyone has any stats it would be great - I’m particularly interested in Brown, Weid, Laurie, vandenburg, Rosman and Bowey.

Do they though?
In 2019 they won interstate games (Inc. Finals) 4-2
And in 2020 they won the premiership playing away from Melbourne for most of the year

I hate the tigers but I've always seen it as a myth that they can't play away from Melbourne

They still lost at giants stadium in 2019

Beat the saints - they are rubbish, not a real win - own eagles for a half, who are a premiership contender.
Beat GWS - injury riddled rabble- beat a finals contender in the pies.

wins looking a little better now, flag here we come!
