I notice that after seven weeks listed as '4-6 weeks', Frost's prognosis has finally changed. To '6 weeks'.

I'm not questioning the medical staff but surely if his toe is seriously injured then they should have just listed him as 'Indefinite'. What's the point of these injury lists when they're not transparent. They did the same thing with Hogan last year.
same old same old, don't think the transparency will change anytime in the near future.

then again he may have just had a setback, but 4-6 happens way too much at Melbourne.

I'm going to guess that keeping the AFL website updated on the injury status of their players is low on the list of priorities for medical / rehabilitation staff at clubs. Feedback on this probably revolves a 10 second email yelled out across the room.

"Kent?"
"Couple of months."
"Frost?"
"... couple of months."
"Tyson?"
"Wait and see."

And send.

Are we going to get the traditional queens birthday over the last couple of years.
Play really well for the first quarter than do nothing for the rest of the day

Also reading people commenting on facebook that this is our grand final, i'm not sure wether they are being sarcastic or they're just stupid

If it's on Facebook, it's likely the latter.

If they did would you watch them? While I appreciate the clubs history I don't think I could get much enjoyment out of watching a bunch of players I've never seen before.
It was a tongue in cheek comment, mate. But I do think that's the only way any of us would be able to see MFC win flags and be a powerhouse.

It's funny, when I was a kid, I used to think I've got about 70-80 years ahead of me, surely we will win a flag at some point. Now I realise that half of my life is over and we've never been further from it. So it's actually becoming a very real prospect to me that I'll never see the Demons win a flag. Sad but true. You know what? I actually would go and watch the old 50's flags if they were online. Why not?

Maybe the 50's are a stretch, but I would watch games from the 80's 90's early 00's definitely.
Actually I was thinking of suggesting to the MFC to replay games online - but with a theme, each round replay a corresponding win frm past years.
eg, in round 10 play a round 10 game from the past.

Not the same as Ch 7's sunday footy flashbacks that doesnt replay any old MFC games.

Michie would have to be in trouble
Also Jeremy howe being moved forward makes me think he wasn't doing his job down back
Howe has no talent as a defender. Playibg himbout of position is on Roos. If he cant play to instruction up forward then fair call.

Maybe but we've seen his talents as a forward so theyre clearly there.
Limited talents , I think when the team is dominating and hogan and pedo are taking defenders then he should be set but he doesn't lead well, he just sits back and expects the high ball to come into him

Gawn for sure. Roos has no love for him, which is a shame.
Gawn is starting to remind me of Blease last year, dominated VFL but just wouldn't get a call-up. I think Gawn has a lot of ability but maybe Roos' thinks he is soft or doesn't work hard enough?

Michie would have to be in trouble

Howe is a natural forward, I think with Lumumba and Grimes in the side now you can't really fit him down back.
