Denham said something positive about Melbourne? You sure?
He also reported about midway through last year that Jesse was very happy at Melbourne and likely to stay.

We've had a lot of positive press this week, be interesting to see how we go on Saturday. Traditionally the positive press means we put in a stinker the week after all of it, I don't think we will but it will be in the back of our minds.

I put money on Port to win by 40+ just in case.

Look at the dogs. They have Tom Boyd taking up half of their salary cap and yet the rest of their players, players far more deserving than spud Boyd, have total buy in with the direction of the club and Luke Beverage as coach. As far as I'm aware, there aren't any news articles about any of their players delaying contract talks or trying to get a bigger piece of the pie, as they know that collectively they are capable of much bigger things.

I see the same promise at the dees, and yet it's frustrating as I don't think ALL of our players see this, or they just place a higher value on things other than team success. If the club, as reported in The Age, has put what they deem to be a more than reasonable offer to Tom McDonald that has subsequently been flatly rejected, then I do wonder what his priorities are in not trying to get the deal done. And of course he's entitled to get as much money out of the club as possible, even though there's probably a dozen players on our list just as deserving of the money he wants for himself.
Their captain walked out on them two years ago, its not as if its always going to be smooth sailing. Never mind the fact that they've not been as shit as us 07-15.

He absolutely went to town on pumping us up actually, thinks a massive finals chance. Not going to win a flag this year, but will be threatening soon for a while.

KB kept trying to compare Richmond and suggest a premiership rivalry between us and them, and Denham kept laughing at him, was quite entertaining.

He did bag Watts not long after tho, so some balance was restored.
Yeah also heard that, about the first time he's ever said anything positive about us

Alot of my time on Big Footy is spend ******* around for some LOLs. But being deadly serious, I am so proud to be a Demons supporter during indigenous round. Sometimes these things can come off as a bit of a PR stunt but the MFC seems to genuinely get into this week. Jetta and Garlett have turned into amazing role models for indigenous kids and the club seems to buy into this week internally. I think there are too many "marquee rounds" during the AFL schedule but this one definitely has its place.

The footy boots idea is inspired. They look fantastic.

Had a look at the thread, somebody mentioned it then another took it up and added the 4 year deal part. Isn't that how wars start?

On the other hand the second poster has a good "community rep"...
4 year has been bouncing about for the last week though, seen it elsewhere. Denham reported either a 4 or 5 year deal yesterday too.
