Who cares
He kicked 5 and 7 against them and we lost both
Wasn't saying we'd win against the Saints in a couple of weeks (especially coming back from Darwin), just that Hogan plays the ground well. And I think in the long run that will bode well for us as a team playing there.

But that means next time he kicks 9 and after that 11 and so on. And in a decade or so he kicks 29 on his own and we will surely have to win (though I bet Riewoldt is still running around and he still makes our defenders look like geese).

Depends who he kicks the 29 playing for doesnt it;)

I look forward to watching us destroy Suns superstars Tex Walker and Rory Sloane.

What did he say?

Was on Access All Areas, I'll be fair and went off the initial headline mentioning the trade. In the actual show he thinks GWS will be ahead but close to a win/win, Lloyd thought it was a clear win/win trade.

I just get mad when people underrate Tyson, Taylor Adams from Collingwood gets more press and fanfare but he is half the player Tyson is.

To be fair Adams was pretty good before his injury.

Dom Tyson is a strange player for me, he could rocket up to the elite or he could sort of Travis Johnstone his career
If he ends up realising his potential then Salem is a bonus

Cracking comparison!!

For mine they look similarly lethargic and both just look/ed like they had/have so much more to give.
Travis Johnstone's best could have been amazing but we rarely saw it.
I would hope and think that Tyson will be a much better footballer but he's teased us a bit with how good he can be without doing it consistently.
Obviously injuries have a part so he's definitely got plenty of opportunity to get there I just hope he does sooner rather than later.

Tyson is stronger at the contest then TJ ever was, not a great comparison.

With him, Jones and Viney we sure have some guns in traffic. Viney with his ferocity and raw power, Jones with his strength and composure and Tyson is similar to Jones but taller so gets his arms free a lot easier.

Lol unless we were going to take Bontempelli at 2 I'm not sure how we lost the pick 2 trade. Would take Tyson ahead of anyone else in the 2013 top 10.

Was never ment to be a literal comparison, more so Tyson could be a very good looking B grader like Johnstone was most of his career or he could step up to be a consistent A grader which TJ never could
Every season was the season TJ was gonna properly break out and then all of a sudden he was 27

The only comparison in playing style is their ability to move slowly while others move quickly

Tyson's lack of speed is incredibly overrated. Can't think of a time it's ever been a problem for him.

Gets caught holding the ball quite often, saying that though it's usually due to a lack of awareness rather than leg speed.

He only gets caught because he isn't a first option player he is a best option player
Makes him very unique in our midfield
