I know who you all are, the howe doubters. Demon16, nick grant, that armstong fellow.
Cut that shit out. Howie is a gun in his prime, these are the sort of players we need to keep. You can stick treloar or however you spell it, up your.
Im not saying this because i have some bromance for the fella, and he wears a melbourne jumper.
He is seriously a gun, i cant imagine any team wanting to part with him
He's really not that special. Freakish ability to take a great hanger. Which goes hand in hand with being a good reader of the play. Not much else above average about him though. And lol at Treloar comment. He is going to be a genuine gun.

Sorry Jeremy. I'm not suggesting you're shite, nor do I want you to leave.

But if you do go, you cant just walk out to a club of your choice. We will at least get a trade and frankly, if it can be part of a play for a big fish, then you can stick your contract up your own..
This bloke was plucked from tassie, (best thing the previous recruting staff ever did).
He played under bailey, he played under neeld, and when he finally played under roos, was sent back to stem the bleeding.
Dont worry, he will leave at the end of the year, and become a. Fifty, sixty goal a year, superstar of the competition.

Lol, you're a riot bloke. Been a while since we had a dead set top notch troll on here!
Im no friggen troll, you guys just have me riled up, with your dismisive approach to the talents of jeremy howe.
I understand modern day footy, where anyone is expedable, but to dissmiss what jeremy means to the club now, and into the future is crazy.
Trav help me out here, im surrounded by loonies

Howestheman i don't think people want to see him go. But the possibility of Howe walking out is something i think a lot of people are bracing for. I would prefer to keep him, but like most people on here we're just wondering what could change if Howe decides to walk. I doubt MFC would trade him. I'm not dismissing him nor do I disregard his talents, but if Howe moves on we need to as well and quickly

I do think some sell him short. He's virtually the only player on the list to improve under Neeld. I prefer him down back where his intercept marking is a feature.

He's not in Treloar's class, but I do like him as a player even though I recognise his faults. He's more than a one trick pony.

I think he plays a very good role for the team an if we were already shooting for finals he be a brilliant third tall even though I like him down back

But if your putting adam treloar into the discussion , your talking about a kid who could be better than Nathan jones

Vince was mostly good last year, I just think we didn't benefit enough from him due to our defensive game plan.
I knew I forgot someone, your right Vince had a really good year last year, I hope with the added depth he can spend a little more time forward of centre so he can be aiming to kick more goals than he did

So heres how I see the Jesse Hogan ('non-injury', 'nothing to see here') situation playing out in the next few days/weeks (tinfoil hats on, everyone!!!)

- Will be rested this week as part of a "pre-determined schedule to ease the younger players into games".
- Leading up to the Essendon nab challenge game, someone (most likely Roosy) will say that Hoges is "50-50" to play, before eventually erring on the side of "extreme caution" by not playing him.
- Leading into Gold Coast Rd 1 game it will be announced that Hoges is out for 1-2 weeks
- At the end of this timeline it will come out in the media that Hoges secretly had his leg amputated after the Freo challenge game, with the story being carefully managed by Melbourne so as to minimise the amount of heart attacks amongst dees fans. There are still heaps of heart attacks amongst dees fans.

Also, it is revealed the club hired the actor from the TV show 'Rectify' to play Jesse in all public appearances since the amputation:

Just reading on the AFL site about this years father/sons and they mention Jake Lovett who is a inside midfielder who goes forward , they said he has already spent a week training with the Dee's and they gave him a fitness program to follow. Sounds like we are keen to take him this year :)

Apparently the fitness program is because he's a little behind in that area, and needs to make some big gains if he wants to play AFL.
