ok so you know how in FB groups, you can search for words and the results from that group are given as search results. i go to click to on the result so I can read the full post but nothing happens almost as if the mouse doesn't work (which is does). i used to be able to do this fine. any ideas?

Tried doing a search in the forum but nothing come up, my search criteria could be flawed so I apologize if this topic has come up already/is a noob question:
I am currently using a Macbook Pro 2012 and run Firefox as my primary web browser, lately when I watch a youtube video if I scroll down the screen at all or even change windows, the youtube video picture pauses and stutters, audio is fine and generally runs smoothly but there have been exceptions. The only way I can get the picture to run smoothly again is if I make the video full screen. I have noticed my computer being a bit more laggy recently too even if I shut down any programs I am not using. How can I speed my computer back up again and also avoid this lagging crappy youtube video problem?

Just a quick issue hopefully you lads can help me with, my PC the other day would boot then id click on firefox and it would hang, then freeze, then BSOD with the stop code ending in 4F which would suggest a hardware/driver issue. I am having issues working out it its my RAM or my HDD thats failing. It occasionally works (am on PC now) but will sometimes bluescreen and thats it. When it goes to reset it tells me it cant find my HDD.

Try download a program called Crystal Disk Info, it gives you information your HDD and whether any of the sections have an error. They're more than capable of running fine with errors so google what errors it gives you to see what exactly it is.
Next thing I'd do is download something like prime95 which is a stress testing program, start that up which will max your cpu/ram, see whether that causes your pc to bluescreen to give you a better idea of whether it's a ram issue or not.
There is something called like memtest which tests your ram but you've got to burn that to a disk, run it on boot and leave it going for some time - never really tried it myself but that's a good way of checking your ram.

Touch pad on my computer won't work at all, It's an asus notebook, windows 7, have reinstalled drivers, and done the on/off a bunch of times... Anyone have a potential solution? Or just take it to the guy? (don't really want to fork out much dosh if it's going to be pricey)

yeah turned on the tv and had lost all the channel ten channels so retuned it again and then we lost all the channel seven channels. A few mates are having the same problem.

I believe it's a browser virus, had it a few times where random words would be hyperlinks and hovering over them would give a link to some random add. I deleted because I thought the lappy got stuffed because I've downloaded a few things, I done that because I recently got it repaired and I didn't have any protection.. DumB to delete Vuze.. I know buts its in the past. When I turn on the lappy to use it again I will send you a msg with what it says. Do you think you can help me ?
I mean you should be able to download Vuze using Chrome or Firefox, you won't need Internet Explorer to do that.
And possibly, see what the message says, I may be able to help depending on what it is.

ive got an old samsung (gti-19000), is there an easy way to remove all references to a contact? have delete the contact and the text thread but there is still references in the history and the logs.

Hi guys hope someone will be able to help me. I recently brought a laptop and have just started using the internet. While browsing through youtube I have noticed that I am unable to watch videos. all that is shown is a blank black screen, while the sound is working fine it is just the images that are not showing. It says flash player is already embedded. and tips?

Sounds like a graphics issue, check to see if you need to upgrade your video card/chip drivers

Hi everyone, need some help please. My hard drive has died, can't get anything from it. I took the hard drive out and placed it in another machine to make sure that it was the hard drive and not motherboard or something else. Although I back-up every 6 months, next back-up was next week and really need to retrieve emails and other important documents. Any ideas on how I can retrieve data? Cheers and thanks.
