I seem to recall this program on mac that would let you choose the ratio the screen would display along with saving it. I can't remember what it was called but I'm wondering if something like that might help with the 'save' option.

Pretty weird it doesn't remember it.
 
Doing some more reading, it seems there might be a driver conflict somewhere. Might have to re-install all the relevant drivers.
 
The right click on my laptop randomly stopped working, just 1 second it was working and then it stopped. Anyone have any idea of some troubleshooting steps? Google hasn't been useful for me.

Cool, well your troubleshooting steps are probably going to be something along the lines of:
1. it's f**ked
2. get it fixed

It's unlikely to be anything other than a hardware fault, you could possibly delete the device from Device Manager and let it re-detect or try some new drivers but it would be a long shot.

If it's under warranty it should be a quick simple fix. If it's out of warranty and you're capable of pulling it apart and putting it back together by yourself you could probably buy a cheap replacement part off ebay and fit it yourself.
 
Is there anyway I can assign a keyboard shortcut so I can still right click on things without the right click on my mouse working?

Shift + F10 will do it, it's not 100% though so your best bet is to just use an external mouse until you can get your laptop fixed.

Shift+ F10 only seems to work when browsing files on windows, doesn't work in my Chrome browser, which is the main thing I need it to work in. Please let me know if I'm wrong.

No. Small laptop so I'm guessing they omit lesser used keys for space.

You're correct, it seems to work for everything but my chrome browser oddly enough.

Yeah probably, I guess the only work around would be to use IE. Just run it without any add ons and use recommended security settings and it's really not THAT bad.
 
So my HDMI cable does not seem to connect with my laptop
To my Samsung tv. It was working the other day but not anymore. I've connected the HDMI cable into my ps3 and that works fine. I've updated the graphics card drivers and the Samsung tv. Yet to try it on another tv with another cable but if that doesn't work, what's my options?

I'm not sure what the deal is.

Fixed it guys.

Went to device manager and had to right click on NVIDIA graphic card and click enable for some reason on it.

Have you actually bothered to Google it? Because the first three results tell you exactly what it is and how to remove it.
 
Hey guys

Im trying to download archicad 18 through educational purposes.

However it comes up with this.

"ArchiCad 18 cannot be installed on this platform.

The 64 bit version of ArchiCad 18 cannot run on a 32 bit operating system"

Thanks guys. Would be greatly appreciated if i could get some help.

You need to get a 32 bit version, you've got a 64 bit version which isn't backwards compatible.
