Best 18 players wtf? How many from each possie?

It's however many they have allowed in each position. (Eg: rucks 2). And I believe 2 emergencies each person.

2014 GAME PLAY CHANGES

1. Player Price changes will occur after the Round 2 (previously it was after Round 3), rewarding those who get their Player selections right from the start.
2. Due to the split Round in Round 1 there will unlimited Trades up until the Round 2 lockout. Note that your Round 1 Score will still contribute to your overall ranking and thus your ability to win the overall prize.
3. Triple dual position player substitutions will be possible - so if you have a Defender/Forward, a Midfielder/Forward and a Defender/Midfielder, you can complete a three way switch between them

Round 1 would be the same has it has for the past few years, rolling lockout with 22 players (all starters) counting towards your score. The only time you'd ever have 18 is for the bye rounds, but given it's AFL Fantasy, they've probably just given everyone the ability to trade out their whole side for each of those rounds.

What do you mean 18 players for bye rounds. There are 22 spots on the field. Technically, it is possible to fill all 22 spots, and most are able to fill the 22.

Since 6 teams are missing, they've done the option before where only your best 18 scores count to help cover for what you'd say, 33% of your list missing.

I know that's what's happening with Real DT, no idea what the go is for AFL Fantasy.

quick question lads, As round one is two days away, how does the first week work for Dreamteam, the round is split over two weeks are u still able to make unlimited trades during the weekend/week?

There seems to be confusion over AFL Fantasy rolling lockout for Round 1.
You will be able to make unlimited trades of players that haven't played up until the Friday night match of the 2nd week. (North Essendon). After that it's a normal lockout.

How does this work for a loophole? I assume the lockout will remain in effect all weekend, so if you were happy to keep Swan's double points score you wouldn't be able to change captain with a non starter for Ablett.

What am I missing?

Last couple of days now. Annoying thing is that the damn counter keeps going down and I need to finalise my emergencies. First world problems I know, but damn them for changing from the stable versions of past seasons to this stupid one

Pretty pissed off to be honest. That's both years now, that I have tried doing Fantasy Elite, and both times I have never, ever been able to physically draft my own team. Had the page for the draft open before, but a window kept opening up saying, "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again" The page will reload and not everything will show up. So I decided to sign out and in again, but nope, now I cannot even get in at all.

Never doing elite again, will stick to Dreamteam, and leave the drafts to the Herald Sun, or The Age webpages. Disappointing to be honest, especially that I was looking forward to it all week.

Guessing it is server issues?
