During high school PE class one of my mates took a huge swing playing badminton and the racquet flew out of his sweaty hand.

We froze and looked on in horror as it hurtled across the gym towards our teacher whose back was turned. Almost felt like slow motion with helicopter blade-like foomp foomp foomp noises as it travelled.

Passed inches above his head and he didn't even notice with all the class noise going on.

We breathed again and retrieved the racquet. Play on
