I think McLaren knew they were flying close to the sun. Piastri had sparks flying out from under the car while trying and failing to overtake Antonelli down the long straight. His was the only car I saw produce any sparks, despite many overtaking moves down that straight.

Anyone going to the race Saturday or Sunday? I'm not big into car racing, but I do love the event. Happy enough to tag along with hubby as I love the concert afterwards. Lenny Kravitz should be good.

As am I. Went to all grand prix and most Supercars until Holdens bowed out. This year is a disgrace with the rules being changed for Ford's aero package mid way through the season. I had a classic car I used to sprint race at Mallala and the Bend.
