Career Statistics (w/ games per club) @ end of Season 26:

Hate, random observations for the club games played column:-

Firstly,
If you look at Ljp86 you've split his into Dragons (DRA) and Southern Dragons (SDR).
If you look at vanders, hers is only Southern Dragons (SDR), despite playing games for the Dragons in S25.

Secondly,
The three letter initialism for teams seems to be random in that some teams are initialised by their full name (Las Vegas Bears - LVB || Gold City Royals - GCR), whereas others are initialised based off the nickname only (West Coast Wonders - WON || Baghdad Bombers - BOM).

(West Coast Wonders - WON || Baghdad Bombers - BOM).

This is probably to do with the fact that they were originally the Seventh Wonders and Bigfooty Bombers.

Probably is, but why don't we have BEA, SWA, and WAR if that's the standard? Or why is HAW used rather than ESH?

Also, you've just helped me work out my first point... DRA was the initial Dragons, which merged with the Southern Sharks (SHA) to create the Southern Dragons (SDR) which has dropped the Southern to be the current Dragons FFC (SDR). Which is why VSTone has only played games for SDR.

Speaking of.. AFAIK the current West Coast Wonders (WON) are a merger between the Seventh Wonders (WON) and West Coast Magic (WCM). This suggests the West Coast and Seventh versions of the Wonders should be differentiated as per the Sharks / Dragons. Might be wrong on that one though.

The original Dragons that Ljp86 played for had merged and formed a new club, which is why you'll see the two clubs separated in both these statistics and match results history.

Three clubs have made use of the name 'Dragons', so must be in some way separated.

BigFooty Dragons (S01-2) - BDR
Dragons (S05-07) - DRA
Southern Dragons / Dragons FFC (S08 - current) - SDR

I can't recall exactly how, but the abbreviations I use were ones decided on back when I first joined the simmers committee. Some people stick to them, some do not. It is mildly infuriating. It also doesn't help that clubs like to change their names every two weeks. I don't usually use short hand abbreviations when I post statistics, and if I do it is usually related to a current season/request in which it is obvious which club is which.

I believe the West Coast/Seventh Wonders and West Coast Magic have no relation to one another.

Also with the abbreviations, LVB or ESH is far easier to understand than BEA or HAW. WON and BOM is just so it encompasses all iterations of the club.

Kinda what I'm getting at.

The DRA/SDR one is confusing though, when you're thinking of the current iteration of the club.

Yeah I agree.

Personally I think that the stats for the Dragons pre- and post-merger should be combined and just all called DRA, similar to how Brisbane Lions records will sometimes include Brisbane Bears numbers, but can understand why they'd split them.

This is incorrect. West Coast Wonders began as Seventh Wonders in Season 01, they changed their name to West Coast Wonders for Season 07.

West Coast Magic competed for two seasons in Seasons 03 and 04.

Hate do you have any quick stats on hand about consecutive games played? Wondering where kane249's 160 stacks up compared to other current streaks or historic streaks.

Off the top of my head I can tell you it doesn't really stack up. I've played more than him and never missed a game. Ljp IIRC from the last time I checked, has only missed max 2 or 3 games. When I get some spare time, I will look in detail.
