Don't worry Punts. At least the list cannot be called old anymore by the smoko's, i mean journo's!

OUT White - 26 Mumford - 28 Bolton 34 Mattner 32 Armstrong -24 Brown 20 Morton 27 AV 27

IN Franklin 27 and 6 eighteen year olds = Average age of 19

That's called a rebuild isn't?

Melbourne is getting desperate.

Roosy is a great get for them but they are still Melbourne.
Until he instills a good culture, players will avoid the place if they are given a choice. I'm sure Roos will change that eventually.
Surely he would have had some say in the trade so he has to take some responsibility for it? Not sure that this is a cultural thing more the recruitment team going out and following through on his request, lets remember it was Roos who put pick 2 on the table.

I think if you look at it logically, he was pick 3 in 2011 so they are essentially getting "equal value" plus an additional top 10 pick (pick 9) so its not that silly if the reality of the draft meets the theory of it

Sydney's sensational offseason so far:

IN: Franklin, Perris, Mitchell
OUT: Bolton, Mumford, Morton, White, Mattner, Armstrong, Brown, Roos, Tudor, Stone, Colless
You should move your bed away from the wall, give yourself a chance.

How many games did Morton, Armstrong, Brown and Mattner play in 2013? Not enough to be missed in 2014.

Roos was an academy coach so hardly a loss. His departure will have no impact on our fortunes in 2014 and beyond.

Franklin replaces White so Mumford is the only guy we can't cover as yet.

Mumford deal is official, pick 35 to Sydney. Better than expected on your end?

No. We were going to get the first pick you were not going to use so that you could keep the no. 1 PSD pick. considering circumstances, fair I think.

But in essence, you keeping the no.1 pick could net you crameri....

Well considering he is out of contract it is a good deal. If he was in contract we would be given unders. Good deal considering he could have gone straight into the PSD.
