Social Science Generation X

My problems are the fault of a group of people born between certain years as defined by verious media outlets and academics.

Yes it is somewhat ironic that a certain 'group' are obsessed with isms and ists and calling out bigotry yet are happy to decry an entire generation of people based on nothing more than their being born within a certain age demographic :rainbow:

The true irony is the young people who throw everything away blame the older generations who grew up on hand-me-downs and home made meals from raw ingredients without any disposable packaging.

but boomers never let everyone know how woke they were by retweeting something that someone else retweeted

People born in 75 (me) are quite a bit different to those born in 65. Yet we are all same generation according to someone who came up with these arbitrary dividers?

Tough shit Billy ray you're generation x :)

Tbh I haven’t looked up what it says about my generation and how much of it i agree with. But in life comparing me to my 10 year older cousins or my 10year older boss is quite laughable

The decline of this website is closely linked to the increase in Gen X users

Boomers have been saying this to millennials for years, though.

"The world is going to heck. Back in my day, we didn't have these LGBTQ snowflakes getting offended at everything. Maybe these people should get a job and buy a house for $50,000 like I did, instead of wasting all their money on smashed avocado on toast. Millennials are so lazy!"

Boomers are without question the worst generation.

Can't remember where I read it (somewhere serious like The Atlantic, not Buzzfeed's 27 Crazy Boomer Tweets) but managerial class boomers did better than anyone after them possibly can. Got jerb positions/high titles in their 20s and 30s and kept them for the rest of their lives. Vacancies simply not there for Generation X. Lifetime earnings affecting level.

Just wait until the kids at school are being taught about how evil your generation is for not supporting [insert however far the degeneracy has reached by that stage cause].
Boomers have been going on about how lazy and entitled millennials are for over a decade. They have to take a lot of responsibility for the hostility they are now getting back from the youth.

The same generation who spent their formative years getting high while listening to Jimi Hendrix and protesting the Vietnam war now want to criticise young people for trying to take action against the climate change that they spent decades ignoring.

We (X) were pretty much the first to get any label. Thanks, almost totally, due to Pepsi marketing in the 80s.

And you will be going on about how lazy the next generation are soon enough, each generation in the west is lazier and stupider than the last.

'Stop sending men to die' = 'stop letting business operate (or something)'

Okay non-boomer.
